MuST (Multi-Sector Skills Training)

The Multi-Sector Skills Training (MuST) Programme is an apprenticeship-based skills training programme which provides trainees with opportunities to enhance their capacities in the areas of Hospitality and Tourism, and Construction. Trainees spend four days per week in industry practising their chosen trades and one day in MIC-IT’s Technology Centres to supplement their practical experience with instructor-led learning. Trainees are provided with a stipend while they learn to assist in promoting success and completion of the programme.

Hospitality & Tourism

Hospitality and Tourism training offers four Occupational Skills Area options for this intake. Applicants can only apply for one skill.

Crop Production

Within this option, trainees will be taught the cultural practices involved in cultivating at least one crop from the following crop types: root and tubers, condiments, pulses and grains and vegetable crops.

Construction

Construction training offers four Occupational Skills Areas for trainees this intake. Applicants can only apply for one skill.
